Hangover?

Unpleasant physiological effects like headache, nausea, sensitivity to light and noise, lethargy, dysphoria and thirst? You must be having a hangover.

Hangover describes having a heavy consumption of drugs, particularly alcoholic beverages. Deficiency in vitamin B12, intoxication, hypoglycemia, dehydration and acetaldehyde are all the causes of hangover symptoms. It may last up to two or three days after alcohol was last consumed. Around 25-30% of alcohol drinkers are resistant to hangover symptoms.

Here are some of the hangover remedies:
1. Sleep
Rest is the best thing to do at this point it will give your body full recovery.

2. Replenish
Replenishing your body with fruit juice and lots of water can help recover your strength.

3. Avoid caffeine
Having a cup of coffee can help, but drinking to much coffee will continue to dehydrate you.

4. Vitamin C
Drink orange juice.

5. Drink sports drink

6. Take a shower

Don’t drink too much, drink moderately. If possible avoid alcohol beverages.
